If you’re looking for something exciting to add to your kids’ lunchboxes, then this Sushi Sandwich with Turkey and Cheese will do just the trick!

Just like adults, our little ones can also get bored of the same old lunches. So, it’s always good to mix things up and try creating new dishes that our children will love. And this sandwich does precisely that! For one, it looks like sushi, which we think adds to the novelty of the snack and makes it so much fun to eat. There are many reasons why this recipe is terrific, but one thing we love about it is that it’s a healthy and creative take on an otherwise plain and simple dish. It takes the basics of a grilled cheese sandwich, and couples it with a super nutritional component (a.k.a cauliflower), magically turning a mundane snack into a nutritious and unique treat that your kids will love!

The first step to making this grilled cheese sandwich to make the cauliflower “bread.” Put your cauliflower florets in the food processor until the texture resembles rice. Then in a bowl, combine the cauliflower, eggs, parmesan, and oregano. Mix until combined and season with salt and pepper. The next step is to create two small patties out of the mixture. This will be you “bread slices.” Fry them up in a skillet over medium heat and add in as much as cheese you want. You’ll know it’s done once the cheese gets all gooey and melty! This recipe is a fuss-free and time-saving take on the usual carrot cake. There is zero baking involved, and it only takes 20 minutes to whip up! Amazing. It’s quick and easy to make, but it doesn’t stop there! These carrot cake bites are extra healthy, too. They’ve got a generous serving of nuts, dates, and carrots. All of which have a ton of nutrients and health benefits. They are so tasty; your kids won’t even notice the veggies in it!

There are only three steps to making these delectable carrot cake bites. First is to use a food processor to pulse the carrots until they’re finely ground and then transfer this to a plate. Next, add in the dates and pecans and process until thoroughly combined. Return the carrots to the food processor and add in the remaining ingredients. Yup, it’s true! We have found the ultimate recipe for popcorn balls! It’s a healthy and delicious snack that’s perfect for lazy afternoons or movie nights with the family. And you can even have your kids join in on cooking with you! Get creative with your flavors: bring out some fruits, nuts, plus other healthy mix-ins and have a blast creating these quick n’ easy popcorn balls with your little ones! As we said, you can get innovative and create your variations of this recipe, but we’ve got a Caramel Apricot version that we would love to share with you!

First, you’re going to need six cups of popcorn. We prefer using the kind you cook over the stove because it’s got fewer preservatives than the microwavable ones that come in a packet. Once you’ve got your popcorn, mix the brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup in a small saucepan over medium heat. Once it’s melted, continue to stir until it darkens. OK, for this next step, you need to be extra careful. Set a bowl of ice water beside you then immediately pour the sugar mixture over the popcorn. Mix in the apricots and quickly dip your hands into the ice water and grab a handful of popcorn mixture. Shape it into a ball and place it on a lined baking sheet.

We are big fans of the original Cheez-Its, and we think it’s a great snack. But as parents, we always do our best to find healthier options. While looking for healthy and delicious snacks, we stumbled upon this recipe for homemade Cheez-Its and were instantly reeled in!

You can make these homemade crackers in under an hour, and we think they’re great, especially if you need snacks for a road trip or looking for a new treat to wow your kids with! The recipe comes with flavors like gruyere and black pepper, classic cheddar, and even a mozzarella-basil combo that tastes exactly like pizza in a cracker! Our stomachs are rumbling just thinking about it!

To make the classic cheddar Cheez-It, the first thing you need to do is to add all your ingredients except the cold water into a food processor. Pulse until the dough is crumbly and no large chunks are visible. Transfer the dough into a mixing bowl and add cold water in 1 tbsp. intervals until the dough holds together. It’s a must-try when you visit the theme park, but we found a recipe that mimics the iconic dessert so your kids can enjoy these delicious popsicles in the comforts of your own home!

These pineapple pops are refreshing, tart, and are the perfect treat to have on a summer afternoon while your family is chilling by the pool. They’re an easy, healthy, and nutritious snack. Plus, they’re homemade! Which means you can pick which natural and wholesome ingredients you want to include in the recipe. For example, you can use fresh pineapples instead of the canned ones from the grocer, and you can also use any kind of milk. So, you can choose to add in almond or coconut milk instead of using half and half or cream!

For this recipe, you will only need three ingredients: 5 cups of pineapples, 1 ½ cup of your preferred milk or cream, and one medium-sized lime.
